Attention, instinct, and passion for what one is doing.
The artist captures the moment and preserves it.
Through their art, they transmit and communicate what they have felt and perceived within.
The outer world resonates with the inner one — and that is the moment to grasp.
And Tiziana Nardini grasped it.

Mangiafuoco

A beach, a square,
any open space will do.
That’s all it takes to blow out
from within oneself
what one wishes to externalize.
A flame, a fire,
that something burning
deep inside us.
Are we aware,
or unaware witnesses
of our inner blaze?
Or, like mere fire-eaters,
do we settle for giving
a fleeting performance?
And are those Goblets empty?
Do they hold money?
Or something else?
Flammable liquid,
or…
is that ethereal flame
the symbol
of the soul’s lightness?
So many questions,
so many answers,
so many perspectives.
A man, his self,
his being,
his essence.
