A Voice That Calls

Music and Poetry. Harmony, Melody and Words. A Choir: an alchemy of notes, chords and voices blended together to perform, in unison, Psalms, Canticles and Prayers to the Most High.
A unique and uplifting experience for those who are part of it, and a balm for the souls of those who listen.
I believe I have summed it all up in these few lines.

A Voice That Calls

I am within you,
perhaps you can sense me,
but you do not see me
because you believe you are in the dark.
While you are fully immersed in the Light,
you identify with
the psychic tide
of fallen humanity
and sail through the darkness
of the collective unconscious.
Engulfed in the hypnotic greyness
of astral light,
you wander like a lost soul
in search of the Right Path,
which is much closer to you
than you can imagine.
You have returned to the labyrinth of life,
and without Ariadne’s Thread
you will not find your way out,
risking getting lost again
for who knows how long,
or taking a dead-end path
that will keep you imprisoned
until, opening your eyes
and listening to my voice,
broadening your horizons
and, above all, attuning your heart
to resonate with mine,
you will find the path
that will lead you out
of your intricate wandering.
Know that without me,
you can do nothing,
and it was not you who chose me,
but I who chose you.
Moreover, I have always
been calling you,
and I am here, waiting
for your return.
You will find me beneath the Tree…
