About Me
My name is Maurizio De Cicco. I was born in Milan in 1961, but since 1971 I have lived in Tuscany, and today I reside in Florence.
Writing has been an adventure that began with a study on the Shroud of Turin (2014, 2015, 2017), and has continued since 2015 with poems, short stories, and nursery rhymes for children.
Since 2018, I have taken part in several literary awards, receiving national and international recognition, such as the “Special Jury Prize” at Ossi di Seppia and Il Sublime, and second place at the Pegasus Award – City of Cattolica, with a collection of 100 poems.
In 2019 alone, I received 12 prestigious awards in 12 months.
Since 2020, I have been publishing independently, earning further nominations, and since 2025 I have also been writing fantasy fiction under the pseudonym Archie Anderson, beginning with the story What If It Were True…, now available in a bilingual edition.
