We Will Never Be Alone – Multilingual Poem
We Will Never Be Alone – Multilingual Poem
Human beings are, far too often, presumptuous—believing they can do everything on their own. Always putting themselves first, they elevate their position to one that is not truly theirs. At other times, however, they fear being left alone, abandoned to themselves, like castaways at the mercy of the waves in a stormy sea. These may seem like two sides of the same coin: the coin of Illusion.
But if they were to awaken from this sleep, shake off the numbness into which they have sunk, and become aware, they would begin to look around and recognize others who, like them, are walking the same path, heading in the same direction. In doing so, they would realize that they have never truly been alone, and that the journey ahead is, in fact, a short voyage of introspection.
Perhaps it could be compared to the story of the Knight who, armed with helmet, armor, and sword, crosses the treacherous forest, battles and defeats monsters, and finally reaches the Castle—where, in the Tower, his Princess is held captive—and frees her.
Fairy tales, myths, and stories—more than we realize—hold within them a truth that longs to be recognized, revealed, and lived. Inspired authors have always told them, and they themselves were guided by a Single, Unique Author.
That is why we will never be alone.
We Will Never Be Alone
Within each of us,
a heart beats
from the beginning to the end
of our days.
In this secret chamber
dwells the divine spark,
intelligence,
the word, and
hope.
Wherever we go, wherever we are,
we always carry it within,
closed, protected, and kept safe
like a Treasure
in a chest.
In the darkness of night,
swept away by a stormy sea,
numbed by the icy wind
and the burdens of daily life,
we keep walking,
always moving forward,
without looking back,
and we will discover, along the way,
that we were never truly alone.
